The IndyBar Law Student Division is seeking applicants to serve on the Law Student Division Executive Board.

The Indianapolis Bar Association Intellectual Property Section is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to encourage all eligible law students to complete the Patent Bar Exam. Achieving this goal will enable you as a student to concentrate on the critical summer clerkship and help make you more attractive to prospective employers after graduation.

As March 1, 2019, marks the beginning of the registration period for the 2019 Indianapolis Bar Association’s Diversity Job Fair from August 5-6, I want to reflect on my wonderful experience at last year’s fair and express my gratitude to all the organizers and participants who made the experience memorable.

Local law students joined four area attorneys on January 25 to discuss the alcoholic beverage and hospitality industry and the law practice that surrounds it. We were excited to have a number of perspectives represented including private practitioners, full-time owners/operators and those who do a little bit of both.

On Friday, November 2, a group of 11 McKinney law students and eight attorneys working in various fields gathered to discuss the realities of working in employment law. We were honored to have attorneys representing several different perspectives, including in-house positions, government positions and law firms representing both plaintiffs and defendants. As you can imagine, this led to many robust conversations!
