Does the Indianapolis Bar Association have attorneys on staff that can help me?

I want to file a complaint about a lawyer - what do I do?
The Indianapolis Bar Association does NOT have the authority to independently investigate or act upon allegations of lawyer misconduct. The Indiana Supreme Court's Disciplinary Commission performs that role. To obtain that information and/or a complaint form, log on to the Disciplinary Commission Website, or call (317) 232-1807.
Can you tell me whether Attorney X is an attorney, and give me his/her name and phone number?
Indiana licensed attorneys are NOT required to be Indianapolis Bar Association members. The complete listing of Indiana attorneys is available at the Indiana Roll of Attorneys or by calling (317) 232-5861.
Does the Indianapolis Bar Association offer free or reduced fee ("pro bono") representation?
The Indianapolis Bar Association does NOT provide lawyers to take cases for free or reduced fees. However, IndyBar does have a number of programs that can assist you with providing advice or other legal needs. Click here for more information.
