Dear IndyBar Government Practice Section members,

Another year of learning, networking, and fellowship has quickly passed by. Justin Swanson will soon be taking over as section chair, and I look forward to continuing to work with him and the other dedicated members on the Executive Committee as we bring CLEs, social events, and other programming to our members. I have valued the opportunity to serve as the section chair and enjoyed meeting so many of our members.

The Government Practice Section has awarded its fifth annual scholarship to Ashley Eve of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

As part of an ongoing multistate effort to combat human trafficking and drug trafficking, Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller and several other of his state AG colleagues are traveling to Cuba this week to meet with their Cuban counterparts and interact with members of the Cuban legal community.

Law Students- this one's for you!

In support of the section's mission to promote an interest in government practice, the Government Practice section will award a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a second- or third-year law student with an interest in government practice.
