Moving the needle for both women and minorities has been the goal for many firms and companies, especially with more emphasis being given to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives recently. The IBJ recently released an article about Eli Lilly and Co.’s efforts to employ a disruptive model to open doors to women and minorities and the tactics employed to learn about its own workforce.

Each year, the Women and the Law Division presents its Mentorship Award, which seeks to honor a female legal professional who's exhibited exceptional efforts to be a mentor to other women in the profession.
