Many schools throughout the Indianapolis area have chosen to push back their start dates or have an all virtual start, and it's possible that local or state officials will eventually mandate that all schools follow suit. This fall will bring even more uncertainty into our lives as we send our children back to school. So, what is a working parent to do?

Our group, like the rest of the country, has seen painful episodes of injustice culminate in protests and rioting. What should our response be as women and as attorneys? The Indiana Rules of Professional Conduct provide that a lawyer, as a member of the legal profession is, among other things, “a public citizen having special responsibility for the quality of justice.” What is our role and response as a group of women who have a special responsibility for the quality of justice? The Women and the Law Division invites you to join us as we seek to answer this question.
