It’s a whole new world for lawyers, but one thing hasn’t changed: there are still a lot of them. 

There is a backlog of evictions in the pipeline and there is currently an effort to prevent some of these evictions as well as avoiding the evictions from ever needing to be filed by tapping into the millions of dollars of rental assistance money that is available. Whether you represent the landlord or the tenant, it would be helpful to your client to know how to tap into these available funds.

Although lawyers often guess about what legal consumers want, there are very specific and discoverable things that legal consumers want from lawyers.  And, knowing these things can allow you to convert more clients. 

An IndyBarHQ utilization task force has been organized, featuring a diverse group of members, to direct our new HQ’s evolution with intention and creativity. The ideas already are simmering vigorously, but we need your help to bring them to a full boil.

According to the 2020 Clio Legal Trends Report, 23 percent of legal consumers thought law firms closed during the pandemic. This is largely based on their knowledge of court closures, leading to an assumption that the entire legal industry was shut down. 

Many law firms still operate with pen and paper time and billing systems, but that's a recipe for losing money. Of course, there's no time like the present to change your ways and recapture more of the money you make.
