There is a backlog of evictions in the pipeline and there is currently an effort to prevent some of these evictions as well as avoiding the evictions from ever needing to be filed by tapping into the millions of dollars of rental assistance money that is available. Whether you represent the landlord or the tenant, it would be helpful to your client to know how to tap into these available funds.

According to the 2020 Clio Legal Trends Report, 23 percent of legal consumers thought law firms closed during the pandemic. This is largely based on their knowledge of court closures, leading to an assumption that the entire legal industry was shut down.
