Beginning October 1, 2017, Marion Circuit and Superior Courts will require all transcript orders to be placed on its web-based transcript ordering and production management platform, TheRecordXchange.

The Indiana Supreme Court, Office of Judicial Administration has an immediate opening for a full-time Staff Attorney. Application deadline is October 5.

It is with deep sadness and profound shock that the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana announces that Senior District Judge Larry J. McKinney passed away overnight. The court will release further information at a later time.

In an effort to ease the ongoing Judicial Emergency in the Southern District of Indiana, beginning on or after October 1, 2017, two Magistrate Judges from the Eastern District of Wisconsin will provide targeted assistance in the Indianapolis division. In addition, Chief Judge Michael J. Reagan of the Southern District of Illinois will be assisting the court by presiding over a trial.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has announced that Judge Richard A. Posner has retired from the bench, effective September 2, 2017.

The investiture ceremony for Christopher M. Goff as Indiana’s 110th Justice took place on Friday, September 1 at 10:30 a.m. EDT in the Supreme Court Courtroom, on the 3rd floor of the Indiana State House.
