The culminating event for Suited Up will take place Wednesday, May 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the IndyBar office, and we're looking for volunteers!

Harvard Law School, along with others, will no longer require the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). For years, the LSAT has been a mandatory part of the law school admission process, but now, the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) will also be accepted.

Due to economic changes and advances in technology, there are a large number of people going directly into their own practice after law school. A solo practicing attorney is able to function at a high level in this economic climate.

On Thursday, March 23, the IndyBar Law Student Division hosted plaintiff and defense attorneys from Indianapolis who practice in the areas of business, health, insurance, personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice. Law students shared questions and listened intently as a common theme emerged on the topic of professional development.  

Indiana University Robert H. Mckinney School of Law moved up to 88th in the rankings-including 12th in health law and 15th in its legal writing curriculum.
