In response to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the United States and particularly in the Southern District of Indiana, the Bankruptcy Court has made changes to its operations. 

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and public health emergency, the Indiana Supreme Court has issued an order amending the limitations on allowable distance education for attorneys and judges in Indiana.

The Indiana Supreme Court is adjusting rules and giving guidance to help attorneys and courts meet legal needs. The court is also making sure attorneys have more latitude to complete education requirements through distance learning as well as extending the deadline for applications to the July bar exam.  

The Indianapolis Bar Association Intellectual Property Section is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to encourage all eligible law students to complete the Patent Bar Exam. Achieving this goal will enable you as a student to concentrate on the critical summer clerkship and help make you more attractive to prospective employers after graduation.

The Indiana Supreme Court and Indiana Court of Appeals issued an order on March 25 extending the filing deadlines for filings due between March 23, 2020 and April 6, 2020.
