The Indiana Supreme Court is adjusting rules and giving guidance to help attorneys and courts meet legal needs. The court is also making sure attorneys have more latitude to complete education requirements through distance learning as well as extending the deadline for applications to the July bar exam.

The CLE programming and events for this year’s Bench Bar Conference are designed to coincide with these developments, which we have coined “Bridging the Gap.” On behalf of myself and the other chairs for this year’s Bench Bar Conference, registration is now open, and we are looking forward to a phenomenal few days in beautiful French Lick from June 18-20.

As the nation and the world track developments related to the spread of the novel coronavirus, law firms are doing the same in order to prepare, manage risk and maintain operational effectiveness. As noted by the American Bar Association, some international law firms are taking direct action to mitigate the impact on their lawyers as well as to maintain their ability to service client needs.
