Summer in Indy will probably be a hot one, but there will be fests! Take some time to get out of the office, and see what Indy’s downtown neighborhoods have to offer. If you’re like the rest of us busy lawyers, save these dates on your calendar so you don’t miss out!

Indy Pride is just around the corner on Saturday, June 10. Even if your firm is not marching in the parade, join as a spectator on Mass Ave while sipping a mimosa.

Downtown Indy dwellers should check out the WonderRoad outdoor music festival in Garfield Park. This music festival returns for its second year on June 17-18 and features back-to-back bands over two days. Want even more live music? Check out the ‘Rock the Ruins’ summer concert series in Holliday Park (near Meridian Hills).

Are you an outdoors fan who longs to be on the water? Eagle Creek offers a summer concert series on weeknights, and listeners can pull up a kayak or SUP to listen from the water. Lawyers can be water people too, right?

Summer always flies by, so look ahead to August and block out your calendar for the Sausage Fest at St. Thomas Aquinas on August 18-19 and the Feast of Lanterns at Spades Park on August 26.

I’m excited already! Hope to see many of my lawyer friends similarly enjoying their summers at these fun Indy fests…And since we’re just lawyers and not professional journalists, check out this full listing from the team at Indy Maven: https://indymaven.com/articles/50-things-to-do-this-summer-in-indianapolis/?mc_cid=9d04fb8999&mc_eid=2e47b90147
