Described as “hilarious, brilliant, and provocative” this dramedy features five women looking for answers at a spiritual retreat in a medieval convent. Directed by Lauren Briggeman, The Convent charts each character’s pre-retreat baggage: among others you’ll meet Jill, a frustrated lawyer who wants a divorce from her husband, and Tina, an annoying millennial with way too much energy. Each participant finds a different path to self-awareness in the sanctity of this European cloister.
