With more than 675 attorneys, Taft has 11 offices in major cities, including Indianapolis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Delaware, Denver, Minneapolis, Northern Kentucky and Washington, DC. Our attorneys practice across a wide range of industries in virtually every area of law.

We are excited to partner with IndyBar and the Women and the Law Division to help support and provide opportunities for women to achieve professional success. Taft supports women in leadership positions at our firm and in the business community through our Gender Advancement Committee and Women of Taft - Indianapolis affinity group. Collectively, we strive to strengthen existing relationships with women clients who own or manage businesses or other organizations and to forge new and continuing relationships with professional and executive women in our community.

At Taft, we are diligent in our efforts to ensure we are the leading example of a truly modern law firm. Our Diversity and Inclusion Committee drives the firm’s conversation, commitment, training, and action plans to foster diversity and inclusion in our firm and within the communities that we serve. We value the leadership of our diverse and women attorneys and understand that promoting their success benefits the entire firm and our respective communities. Taft’s 2022 leadership team is a reflection of that commitment, and has the following representation by women, team members of color, and other diverse leaders:

  • 74 percent of its executive committee.
  • 54 percent of its compensation committee.
  • 45 percent of its office partners-in-charge.
  • 36 percent of its practice group leaders.
  • 92 percent of its C-level officer positions.

Our women attorneys are also highly accomplished leaders outside the firm, giving their legal talents to community and professional organizations to help them and our communities prosper. We sponsor professional educational programs to benefit our female clients, and we participate in numerous associations devoted to the advancement of women across multiple industries.
