The Texas Supreme Court is weighing an insured’s appeal of losses at the trial court and appellate courts regarding her insurer’s alleged negligence in failing to ensure that the scene of a one-car accident was safe when instructing the insured to take photos. After the insured’s husband arrived at the scene and began taking the requested pictures, another motorist lost control of her car and struck the husband, killing him. Read more.
