Meet: Jim Strenski, Paganelli Law Group

What is the focus of your practice?
I focus on insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation.  I also write coverage opinions for insurance companies, provide advice on coverage matters, and assist in coverage investigations such as examinations under oath.   I also do insurance defense work.

How long have you been practicing?
I have been practicing for 26 years

How long have you been in Indy?
I went to Bloomington for law school and began my career in Indy upon graduation. 

What do you enjoy doing when you're not at work?
I try to exercise and stay active in my spare time.   I play tennis (at least pre-pandemic)  and I am starting to learn pickle ball.  I enjoy fishing, travel, and traveling to go fishing.  I am also a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs.   

What are some of your goals for the section this year and what are you most excited about for the section?
Some of my goals for the section are to get to know the other executive committee members better in both a professional and personal context, and to deliver quality educational content to IndyBar members

Tell us about your favorite restaurant(s) in Indy.
I am a fan of Italian food, so Mama Carolla’s and Ambrosia are a couple of my favorite spots.  Half Liter also has good barbeque.
