This article highlights the growth of women in the legal field over the last ten years, from 2006 to 2016. With many changes in the profession, the number of females in leadership positions is on the rise, there are more females on the Supreme Court than ever before, and female lawyers are enjoying higher levels of equality and respect in the workplace, than was the case in 2006. Despite these positive changes, the legal profession is still plagued by sexism and gender bias.
