Past ADL Award Recipient Nominated for 7th Circuit Court of Appeals

On January 12, 2016, President Barack Obama announced his nomination for Myra Selby, former Indiana Supreme Court justice, to fill the vacancy from Judge John Tinder's retirement on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Selby was the first woman and first African-American on the Indiana Supreme Court and the first African-American partner in a major Indianapolis law firm. She received the Women and the Law Division's annual Antoinette Dakin Leach Award in 1997.
