October Member of the Month: Elizabeth Eichholtz Walker

What year did you begin practicing law and what is your legal background?
I began practicing law in 2011 and now serve as co-owner of my firm, Becker Bouwkamp Walker, PC - a family law firm serving Central Indiana, dedicated to guiding clients through life's difficult transitions with support, clarity, and care.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
Helping clients and families find resolution during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Additionally, one of the best parts of being in a smaller firm is having close, supportive coworkers - it's always a great time when we're all together!

What inspired you to pursue a career in law?
My dad.

What’s one ritual or routine you rely on to start your workday with focus and energy?
Coffee, several cups.

What's a fun fact, hobby, or personal interest you’d like to share outside of work:
I love being outdoors—fishing, water skiing, or just staying active with my husband, our 3-year-old daughter, and our dogs. We recently took an Alaskan cruise and had the best time making family memories. Additionally, I am guilty of never turning down a chance to sing karaoke!

Stay engaged and connected. Lean into opportunities to lead, and surround yourself with colleagues and friends who support and inspire you - at work and at home!
