Tell us about your practice area and passion in the legal field.
My practice focuses on consumer class actions, with an emphasis on litigation against financial institutions that engage in unfair and deceptive practices.

I believe it's essential for everyone to have meaningful access to the legal system. I love that the class action device enables individuals to enforce their rights in situations where they may lack the resources or ability to do so individually.

What is your involvement with IndyBar?
I have been a member of the Women and the Law Division since 2018 and have really enjoyed participating in the WLD mentoring program! I am also involved in IndyBar's new Lambda committee.

What is something you're recently proud of?
I recently managed to pull off a surprise baby shower for one of my lifelong friends and my soon-to-be godson. The shower was held in Seattle, so it was definitely a challenge, but absolutely worth it!

What are you involved with outside of law?
I volunteer at Indiana Youth Group, where I am a program lead for youth events. I am also a founding member of IYG's Volunteer Leadership Council, which helps organize youth events, train and empower volunteers, and foster a sense of community amongst the volunteer base.

How do you like to unwind and relax?
I've been taking boxing classes for years, and I've found that nothing relaxes me quite like an hour with a heavy bag. I also love exploring different places and cultures, so I travel as often as I can. Most weekends, you can find me wandering around downtown Indianapolis in search of a new favorite bookstore or coffee shop.
