The IndyBar Paralegal Committee is seeking paralegal volunteers from a variety of legal expertise and interests to volunteer to participate in a "Speed Date" forum wiith paralegals in the IUPUI Paralegal Program.

On September 24, 2013, the Paralegal Committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association celebrated its 20th Anniversary at the Rathskellar among longtime friends and colleagues, including Charter Members Kathy Much Thurston and Denise Bowlby.

For many years, the Indiana Paralegal Association (IPA) and the Paralegal Committee of the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar) have held a joint luncheon meeting once a year. For the last two years, the paralegal (affiliate) members of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) have also participated. The joint luncheon meeting is a chance for the members of each association to have an opportunity to network with the members of the other associations.
