Wednesday Wine Club

Wednesday, August 12 from 5-6:30 p.m.

Join IndyBar’s Inclusion and Accountability Committee for a new series of casual wine gatherings designed to bring together lawyers, law students and friends of IndyBar in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Throughout the year, we’ll visit three local wineries across Central Indiana, creating opportunities to meet new people, build connections, and enjoy shared experiences outside the courtroom. Our first gathering will take place at Easley Winery, where guests will enjoy a guided tasting and learn more about the art of wine appreciation. Future gatherings will build on what we discover together as we explore other local wineries and continue the conversation.

Rage and Rest: Using Endorphins and Mindfulness to Reset

Thursday, August 13 from 5-6:30 p.m.

This experiential program is designed to help legal professionals counteract the unique stressors of their practice environment through a powerful combination of movement and mindfulness. Participants will begin with a 30-minute “Rage Ride”, a guided, interval-style workout that channels stress into physical exertion with modifications available for all fitness and experience levels. The program then transitions into 45 minutes of Breathwork or Yin Yoga, focusing on slowing the body, releasing tension, and activating the parasympathetic nervous system. The session concludes with a guided meditation to promote mental clarity and emotional reset. Attendees will receive curated materials exploring why attorneys are particularly susceptible to chronic stress, including the physiological and cognitive impacts of prolonged pressure.
