Daun Weliever was recently appointed Magistrate Judge of the Marion Superior Court.



Alice Morical is now practicing at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Alice joined as a partner in the business litigation group.



Dina Cox recently was named managing partner at Lewis Wagner LLP. Dina focuses on appellate, class action defense, product liability, drug and medical device, and toxic tort.

Adam Willfond recently returned to public service to join the newly-created Hamilton County Legal Department as an Assistant County Attorney. Adam will represent the County's agencies, departments, and employees in federal and state litigation.

The legal community is invited to attend the public robing ceremony of recently appointed Marion Superior Court Judge Richard Blaiklock on Thursday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the Community Justice Center’s Jury/Public Assembly Room. There will be open seating with additional standing room available. The ceremony is expected to last less than one hour. Registration is not required. Open seating will be first come, first serve beginning at 3:00 p.m.

A survey recently conducted by IndyBar has resulted in the recommendation for continued service on the bench for each Marion Superior Court judicial candidate whose term of office expires in 2024.

On Feb. 27, 2024, members of the Bench and the Bar gathered to express gratitude to IndyBar Past President the Hon. Cynthia J. Ayers, member of the Marion Superior Court, for her career of public service and commitment to the Indianapolis legal community at her Judicial Retirement Ceremony. Judge Ayers officially retires from the bench on March 15, 2024. You can watch the ceremony recording here.

Marion Superior Court has a vacancy for a Magistrate in its Initial Hearing Court. This position is for nights and weekends and may include holidays.
