ChatGPT is all anyone can seem to talk about these days, from grandmas to grade schoolers.  That is how you know when a technology has captured the popular zeitgeist. Now, if you haven’t used it yet, or are unfamiliar with it, ChatGPT is what is called a ‘generative AI’ tool, that is rendered in the form of a chatbot.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, couples separating and ultimately filing for divorce seemed to be more and more prevalent given the stressors and the relationship issues that surfaced during the lockdown. CNBC reported earlier this year that even in the U.K., there was a 95 percent surge in divorce inquiries and companies that provide legal forms reported a 34 percent increase in the sale of their boilerplate divorce agreements.

On April 4, 2022, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit published its Opinion in Archer-Daniels-Midland Company v. Country Visions Cooperative, 2022 WL 998984. In this case, the debtor issued a right of first refusal to Country Visions in 2007 allowing Country Visions a right to match any other person's offer for the purchase of certain real estate. The term of the right of first refusal was ten years.
