Summary

The next news story, political campaign press release, court decision or even employee tweet can put a company on the razor's edge. Pressure from the context of hot button issues such as climate change, reproductive rights, and education can contribute to anxiety for many in-house counsel and c-suite executives. Coping with dynamic political change, threats to ESG, and lack of confidence in their organizations to handle the pressure effectively are often cited as some of the biggest issues facing these attorneys. This is especially true as anti-ESG efforts in some state governments and in the halls of Congress grow. Watch our hosts, Scott Chinn and Julian Harrell, as they present an interesting CLE that surveys the landscape of conflict and concern and initiate a discussion about planning and response.
