Summary

In 1919, the White Sox won the World Series and continued to be one of the top teams in the league for several years. However, with growing resentment of ownership and no union to support the players, the desire for a payout led to corruption, and eight players, dubbed the Black Sox, were accused of throwing the game. Called the most famous scandal in sports history, all eight players, including the famous Shoeless Joe Jackson, were acquitted but they were permanently banned from professional baseball. Arguably one of the best players to ever play the game, he is still banned from the Baseball Hall of Fame. During this event, we give him another chance at a trial to see if the course of history can be changed.
