Summary

The Chinese economy is becoming an essential space for many United States companies as markets continue to globalize. With that growth, however, intellectual property (IP) infringement and theft are on the rise. Your clients need to be able to take steps to protect and enforce their IP rights in China. During this program we discuss:

  • Best practices for protecting IP for companies doing business in China
  • The state of current political relations in China and the impact on IP
  • Recent legal changes for IP in China

Our speaker, James Zhu, is head of intellectual property practice at JunHe LLP, a Chinese law firm with over 700 attorneys, and the managing partner of its Silicon Valley office.
