Summary

The CLE discusses the ethical implications of PCRs as they arise for prior counsel who may be called to discuss and testify about their representation of a previous client, as well as a discussion of a number of ethical issues that PCRs raise for trial counsels as well as trial prosecutors. We discuss these issues from the perspectives of a PCR attorney, a deputy prosecutor and a senior judge each of whom has many years of experience with Post Conviction Relief cases.
