Environmental Forensics refers to using scientific methodology for identifying hazardous contaminants in the environment and determining their sources and times of release. This program provides an updated look into how environmental forensics investigations can provide valuable tools for obtaining scientifically supported, admissible evidence in environmental legal disputes.
This seminar will offer practical insight into addressing questions commonly at issue in disputes involving environmental contamination, such as: who is responsible for the release; what is the source; when did the release happen; and what is a reasonable cost allocation for cleanup.
This topic has not been presented recently by the Environmental Law Section and advancements in lab technology and new tools in the forensics arsenal make this program both timely and relevant.

Failure to complete the online course within 30 days will require you to re-enroll and purchase again in order to view and complete the education program.
NOTE: CLE credit will not be reported to the Indiana Supreme Court Commission for Continuing Legal Education (CLE Commission) until payment for the course has been received in full. The CLE Commission will not approve online CLE credit if you previously received credit for the same live course. It is your responsibility to monitor your credits.
