Mediation Day is back for 2025! Join the Family Law Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section on August 8th at the Community Justice Center (CJC) by volunteering to mediate one (or more) of 30 family law/civil cases and free up valuable docket space.
Mediators should plan to bring their own laptops for drafting, but support staff will be on hand to assist with printing drafts, final agreements, and making copies. Please sign up before July 31.
Law students can shadow the mediators as they meet with parties, and we welcome both family and civil mediators to volunteer!
For case referrals, please follow the listed criteria: DR, DC, DN, or JP, pre- or post-decree, focusing on straightforward property divisions, custody and parenting time establishment/modification, child support, and/or college expenses. Additionally, the combined household incomes of the parties should not exceed $100,000 for assignment. Complex property divisions are best handled outside of Mediation Day.

Your time and support are greatly appreciated! As an added benefit for you, snacks and lunch will be provided to mediators. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. outside the Jury Assembly Room. Room assignments will be provided upon check-in.
We look forward to seeing you at Mediation Day 2025.
