Custody battles over children have long been the standard fight between parents. However, we now live in a society where pets are considered part of the family. You can’t scroll through social media without seeing families posing with their pets, taking videos of them on vacation or just capturing their cuteness with a funny story. I have two "fur-babies" myself and can’t imagine life without them. So, what happens when a couple (whether married or not) separates?
