Today, everyone is connected online through social media. In addition, everyone knows what others are up to because of social media. Whether it is to show friends what their significant other made for dinner or how cute their kids are on Halloween. Some people use it as a way to release tension (family, work or political) while others use it as a way of getting attention (a.k.a. “influencers.”) Regardless of what you use social media for, it can be an affordable and effective method of creating brand awareness and marketing your legal services or your Law Firm’s legal services.

This year, IndyBar members engaged in some community service by serving at our local Ronald McDonald House. Led by Patty McKinnon, members of the Solo and Small Firm Division, Family Law Section, Paralegal Committee and their families, prepared and served dinner for all who attended.

A variety of scholarships are available to attend the 2020 IndyBar Bench Bar Conference June 18-20, 2020 at the French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, Indiana. IndyBar's Bench Bar Conference is Indiana's premier event to bring lawyers, judges and paralegals together for a great time and top-notch CLE programming. Scholarships funded by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation will be awarded in addition to those awarded through IndyBar sections and divisions.
