ABA Submits Policy Recommendations for Strengthening Parental Rights - Family Law News

On September 9, the American Bar Association (ABA) submitted a statement to Congress that outlines alternative legislation that they propose in order for strengthened parental rights.

The ABA's policy recommendations include: improvements in the provision of legal counsel for parents when the parent-child relationship is affected by court actions, protection of parental rights when parents are incarcerated, establishment of a national computerized child custody registry and more.
