BTI's Billing Rate Reference 2014 provides information on the average hourly rates for different sized firms and different levels of lawyers. The largest firms are defined as those with 400+ employees, the next group 150-399 employees and the smallest group  fewer than 150 employees. The levels of lawyers were associate, partner and senior partner.

Depending on each factor, significant wage differences were evident. At the low end, it was only a $34 jump from associate at the smallest firm to associate at the medium firm, but when it comes to the senior partner level, the difference between firm size led to nearly a $300 difference.

Check out the infographic here to see how your firm and your role stack up against the averages found in this survey.
