On the heels of Tony Stewart's crash with Kevin Ward Jr. last weekend, NASCAR has added a new rule about drivers' actions following an accident. The new rule states that drivers may not approach the track or moving vehicles after accidents. Ward exited his car after being clipped by Stewart's and was hit by Stewart when walking down the track.

The new rule formalizes reminders that take place during drivers' meetings, according to NASCAR Vice President Robin Pemberton. You can read more about the rule here.
