Upcoming CLE: City Budget Law and the Art of "Sausage-making"

On Monday, September 29 from noon to 1 p.m., the IndyBar Government Practice Section will sponsor "City Budget Law and the Art of 'Sausage-making'", a one-credit CLE devoted to the local budget season.

During this time, local leaders are using their creativity and skills to try to fashion sustainable local budgets for 2015. This presentation will explore the tools and materials used in that “artful” enterprise: the rules, deadlines and processes that must be followed each year. This is a broad survey of budgeting law with a local focus – from budget introduction to passage and beyond.

Andrew J. Mallon of Drewry Simmons Vornehm LLP will be the featured speaker.
