In Case You Missed It: Judge Rules NCAA Violates Antitrust Law

On August 8, the U.S. District Court ruled that the NCAA 's ban on paying players for their likenesses is a violation of U.S. antitrust law. Some say this could be "the first domino to fall"  in "the end of college sports as we know it". However, Judge Claudia Wilken left many NCAA rules that cap athlete income intact.

The NCAA has announced that it plans to appeal the decision.
