Legal Battles Emerge Over EPA's Power Plant Carbon Rules

The EPA announced a proposal two months ago that would cut carbon pollution from power plants. This rule would require states to limit power plant carbon emissions through system-wide measures, such as plant improvements, increased deployment of natural gas, renewable and zero-carbon energy sources and more.

Legal battles over this proposal are already emerging. The EPA proposal could reshape state energy markets, and they have received more than 100,000 submissions throughout the comment period for the proposal.
