This October, the Young Lawyers Division partnered with the IndyBar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the IndyBar Solo Small Firm Division, and the Indiana State Bar Association’s Animal Law Section to host a Civic/Social event at Metazoa Brewing Company: Pups & Brews. Pups & Brews has become a YLD favorite over the last few years, and this year was no exception.

If you have never been, Metazoa is not your typical craft brewery: It always promises dozens of adorable pups, features its own dog park, and donates 5% of its profits to animal and wildlife organizations. The YLD aimed to bolster Metazoa’s mission, encouraging in-kind donations to Indianapolis Animal Care Services via its Amazon Wishlist. We received numerous donations in just one night and are very grateful to our generous attendees!

While donating to help our furry friends, Pups & Brews attendees mixed-and-mingled among various IndyBar Sections and ISBA Animal Law Section members. Many attendees also brought their own pups along for the ride, sparking easy and fun conversation starters. We had a blast, and hope you can join us next year!

Special shoutout to our generous sponsors: Emswiller, Williams, Noland & Clarke, LLC, and the Indiana State Bar Association Animal Law Section. We truly could not have done it without you.
