Lee Christie, Christie Farrell Lee & Bell
The Indianapolis Bar Association’s Nominating Committee has announced the selection of the 2023 Board of Directors’ Executive Committee. Leading the slate is Lee Christie of Christie Farrell Lee & Bell who has been chosen as the 2025 President of the Indianapolis Bar Association. He will serve as the association’s First Vice President in 2023 and as President-Elect in 2024.
Christie has held numerous leadership roles in the Indiana legal community including President of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and is a former member of Marion County Judicial Selection Committee. He has been recognized as Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, as an Indiana Lawyer Distinguished Barrister, and was named by Best Lawyers the Indianapolis Lawyer of the Year in mediation and in arbitration. Christie is a current member of the IndyBar Board of Directors serving as Chair of the Masters Division.
Serving one-year terms as Vice President will be Raegan Gibson of Paganelli Law Group, Alex Limontes of Hurst Limontes, Donnie Morgan of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and Travis Van Winkle of Law Office of Travis Van Winkle LLC. Emily Angel of Kids' Voice of Indiana will serve a two-year term as Secretary, and Katie Jackson-Lindsay of Jackson Legal Services will be General Counsel.
As determined by previous nomination, the 2023 Board of Directors will be led by Rebecca Geyer of Rebecca Geyer and Associates. David Duncan of Scannell Properties will be President-Elect. Adam Christensen of Hearthside Food Solutions LLC will continue service as Treasurer, and the Hon. Alicia Gooden will be Immediate Past President. Additional nominations of at large directors and various group representatives will be announced next week.
The 2023 Board of Directors will be formally installed at the Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation Installation gathering, to be held in January 2023.
