Let's Talk Parenting Time

So…let’s talk parenting time. It has been months since the updates to the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines went into effect January 1, 2022. The Family Law Section hosted a CLE back in October 2021 to highlight some of the changes coming and recently hosted another CLE to talk about how the changes are going since January. If you weren’t able to attend, the links below will let you watch these on demand. But, I wanted to highlight another helpful tool: the Online Parenting Time Calendar. It can be accessed at this here. It is a great way to put a parenting time plan together and actually see how it looks on a calendar. It has been updated with the new guidelines and has some other updates too. It can be super helpful in mediations, as an exhibit when proposing a plan at trial, making GAL recommendations and in other instances too. And, hot off the presses, the updated Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines in Spanish!
