How long have you practiced law?
6.5 years, 4.5 years with my current firm.
Describe yourself in three words.
Enthusiastic, Diligent, Loyal
What was your favorite non-legal job?
My dad and I owned a printing and desktop publishing business while I was in high school. It taught me valuable lessons regarding hard work and responsibility.
Do you prefer to work from home or go to the office?
I definitely miss seeing my colleagues in the office on a daily basis, but the short commute to my home office sure beats battling traffic and construction on the way downtown.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Reykjavik and Banff are at the top of my travel bucket list.
What’s your favorite way to unwind?
A walk around the neighborhood with my dog, Hank.
Who inspires you?
My wife, Becca. Somehow she continues to exceed expectations in every facet of life – as a professional woman and a loving partner.
What has been the highlight of 2022 for you?
Professionally: being elevated to Partner at Dentons. Personally: working with Becca to prepare (as much as we can) for the arrival of our first child.
What’s the last book you read?
On Becoming Baby Wise by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam and I’m currently enjoying Pappyland by Wright Thompson.
Salty or sweet?
Sweet, 100%. I’m a sucker for a Rise’n Roll donut (or two).
What’s your favorite thing about the IndyBar?
There’s always an educational and convenient CLE to attend.
