There are more bike lanes in the city than ever before, but some safety experts say that using those bike lines is not always the safest option. IndyCog recently received a $40,000 grant from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to create a campaign that will raise awareness for safer cycling procedures, such as using the main traffic lane when riding through an intersection to improve visibility.
