The Indianapolis Bar Association and Nomad AV Systems will host training sessions at IndyBarHQ (140 N. Illinois St.) on Wednesday, May 18, Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 for attorney members of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Marion County Bar Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Indiana and support staff.
Nomad is the evidence presentation system that will be in used in courtrooms in the Community Justice Center. This system allows attorneys to present evidence in many ways:
- Physical evidence or printed documents via a document camera
- Attorney laptop via a hard-wired HDMI connector
- DVDs of depositions
- Cell phones, iPads and tablets via the document camera or remote presentation device
- BYOD devices via the remote presentation device
- ANNOTATION over ANY image to focus witness or jury attention
Attendees will get an overview of this evidence presentation system and hands-on experience with the new system. Sessions will begin on the hour and will be 50 minutes in length.
Because of limited capacity, this event is open to attorney members of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Marion County Bar Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Indiana and one non-attorney support staff guest per attorney member registrant.

Training videos (including the video that will be shown at each session) are available now. Nomad is used in all courtrooms with different models utilized in juried and non-juried courtrooms. This will be addressed in the training.
