Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb recently signed into law an important revision to how the Indiana Economic Development Corp. administers tax-credit incentive programs that will go into effect on July 1, 2022. Making Indiana a much more attractive and competitive state for the entertainment industry, this revision establishes a film and media production tax credit that will offer up to 30 percent for qualifying expenses. Proponents view this as having the potential to create jobs and entice students to stay in Indiana. Read more about this film production credit in the IBJ here.
