Washington Post: Adidas Shakes up NIL Landscape With Offer for Athletes at all of its Affiliated D-I Colleges - Sports and Entertainment Law News

Adidas recently announced that its name, image and likeness (NIL) network will be available to eligible athletes in 23 sports at 109 NCAA Division I schools affiliated with Adidas. The company noted that this initiative will open doors for student athletes beyond college sports and identified that this announcement comes near the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in federally funded education programs.
