The IndyBar Real Estate and Land Use Section is happy to honor Marci Reddick as the 2021 recipient of the Zeff Weiss Award for Excellence in Real Estate.

Reddick, a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has spent more than 30 years in private practice, serving real estate clients of all sizes from start-ups to the country’s largest electric utility provider. She has skillfully represented municipal clients in public private deals to redevelop and reenergize large portions of the Indianapolis International Airport and represented private clients in multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and disposals.

Reddick has been an active community participant, serving as President of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority, as Chair of Division II of the Metropolitan Board of Zoning Appeals and one of the founders of Out Run the Sun, Inc., a local non-profit increasing awareness of melanoma. Reddick has provided invaluable service to the bar as a chair of practice group committees for both the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association and is a Life Fellow for the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. She has served as the chair of the Indiana Business Law Survey Commission and has provided continuing education seminars and guest lectures at area law schools.

"Marci is a fantastic lawyer, and an even better human being,” co-nominator, Russell Brown said. “She is a lawyer who shares her knowledge and experience freely, whether you are negotiating a transaction with her, serving on a committee with her, or just interacting with her in a social setting. She’s directly impacted my view of what being a successful and engaged lawyer looks like.”

Co-nominator, Kiamesha Colom states, "Marci is a diligent and dedicated attorney with high standards for herself and others. Her colleagues and firm clients have depended on her for excellent service and practical solutions to complex problems. She has worked tirelessly over the years and is very deserving of this recognition and the freedom of time that come with retirement."

“Marci is a skilled real estate attorney who provides excellent advice and counsel to her clients, April Sparks Pyatt, Chair of the IndyBar’s Real Estate and Land Use Section said. "She has been a role model and mentor to me and several other Indianapolis attorneys practicing commercial real estate law.”

Join us to honor Reddick at the section's holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at IndyBarHQ. Details and registration can be found online here.
