On February 20, the Trump administration proposed rules that would make it easier for consumers to buy cheaper “short-term, limited duration” health insurance plans, which do not have to comply with the regulations under the Affordable Care Act. These new proposed rules carry out an earlier Executive Order by President Trump to lower health care costs for consumers.
