Another tip from a colleague in CCB; I can’t believe I did not think of this one myself!
 
Not sure how to word this to avoid ire, but…I think you have included a tip that they should state the amount of time they need for a hearing pursuant to Family Law Rule or we will set a 15 minute hearing, but how about also stating in your motion how far out you want the hearing set because my staff will set hearings in two weeks if they have dates available.  Then everyone files for continuance because they haven’t exchanged discovery or evaluated assets or…
