My Bench Bar Conference Experience: Elise Bowling

To say that I was nervous to go to Bench Bar would be an understatement. I'm not so much a "social butterfly" as I am an "awkward, klutzy moth," and the thought of attending a conference with 300-plus lawyers where I knew fewer than three people was nothing short of terrifying.

But once I got to Louisville, everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I quickly forgot how nervous and scared I was and just enjoyed interacting with my colleagues. The sessions were instructive and entertaining, and even though it highlighted just how much I don't know, trivia was a blast. I'm very glad I attended Bench Bar!
