While the statewide mask mandate ended on April 6, masks are still highly encouraged and required in all state buildings. Marion County’s mask mandate will remain in place and large private entities like Walmart have already indicated they will continue to require masks. Masks requirements are allowable under law due to the legitimate public safety concerns of Covid-19. Read more from Indy Star here.
